1st week in japan!

i left for japan on 20th feb 2008. hahahh.. my family and a few close friends came to send me off. and i met bernard b4 i board the plane. hahha he was doing duty at the gate. so qiao! hahha

and SQ is good. the food was good.. the inflight entertainment was good... and the seat is not bad... quite spacious for me... hahhah...

reach japan super early in the morning... at ard 7.10am and the temperature was 2 degrees lor. super cold. and we took a bus to tachikawa and waited for someone to pick us up. hahha.. and that white building is the one i'm staying in now. the place is ok la... small lor. as usual... japan ma. and we took a cab from tachikawa to the place where we are staying at it cost ard 4000yen... super expensive lor. its about 20mins away only lehz.

first meal in japan.... ramen... not too ex thou... 620yen... its not bad la... within walking distant from our place. anyway day 1 was madness la... went to do the alien reg and went daiso to buy stuff for the house and seiyu to buy some electrical appliances... carry very heavy stuff and walk long distances in the super duper cold weather!!!! now both my legs and arms are very strong le lor....

that night ivan came and meet us and brought us to a big mall, saty.... its like tampines mall la... so since ivan owns a car... hahah bought alot of stuff for the house again!

day 2

we went to explore fussa on our own... had lunch at a nice eatery... near out place too... that lunch cost 780yen... ok la... cannot consider it to be expensive in japan.


we brought the guys to saty... yes... we gals brought the 2 eh.. ermmm... guys to saty... the day b4 ivan drove us there and we read the brochure and we brought the 2 guys there the next day... by bus... hahhah... its ard 15 to 20mins bus ride away.. quite a nice place to shop for the weekend if we dowan to travel too far out.

thats our dinner. sashimi!!!! cheap cheap after 8.30pm.. hahhah so must buy!!! now wheni go the the supermart i will be looking at section lor.. see if theres any cheap and nice food to buy home... hahhah...

day 3

finally something more exciting...we went harajuku!!!!! and i love that place.. its a nice and exciting place to shop. i love it.. but its abit far and abit expensive to travel there... it cost ard 6 sgd to go there... and another 6 sgd to come back... hahahh so if u go there and din buy anything.. its like u've wasted ur transport fee. and we went there buy train... not buy cab or bus lor. anyway thats our lunch la. fast food... lotteria...

and i had a crepe in harajuku... hahah its a must eat lor... and that day was super cold and windy la... and i bought a pair of boots le!!! so happy.... cheap cheap only... think 3990 yen and a scarf for 990 yen.. also cheap cheap... hahah...

that night we met zy for dinner at shinjuku... and it was ivan's bdae so me and yiwen bought him 2 little cakes.. hahah also to thank him for driving us ard and giving us infomation b4 we fly over to japan... hahahh... anyway it was a asian resturant la... not nice lor... dun have the spore feel... still very much japanese... think the fire they use not strong enff lor... the hokkien mee dun have the want to chao ta and yet not chao da feel... not nice la.. and expensive also.. but think ivan too happy that we celebrate bdae for him den he end up treating us... hahah zhuan dao... hohoho...

day 4

finally got to sleep a little later than usual le... went to seiyu... din want to go too far coz the next day is the 1st day of work le... hahha... went to buy stuff for the house again!!!! and we had lunch at Italian tomato... quite a nice place.. the only bad thing is people can smoke in that resturant lor... tsk tsk...

that night was jaders dinner nite... we had shabu shabu... nice dinner but abit expensive... think more than 3200yen i think... but its a buffet la... so eat until we full... hahahh...

so thats about all that i've done in japan for the first day... been buying stuff for the house... hahah next entry i will blog about my job... hahhah... as for now i need to sleep le... its like 3am in the morning in japan... heng tmr no work.. tmr i'm going to explore tachikawa... hahhah...
