royal family portriat
Artist: de Goya Francisco Jos -- "El Padre del Arte Moderno"A picture paints a thousand words, what information do you get from this painting?
His works touches on political and social issues...notice who actually dominates the painting... its actually the queen instead of king charles... she's in the middle of the painting and she is drawn taller than the king in the painting... she looks aggorant and proud... and she had her childern beside her... shows that she controls the family... notice that all the woman in the painting wore the same dress as her... she might have ordered them to do so... as under normal circumstances... no woman would like to wear the same dress as another woman... notice one of the girl's face is not seen... she's actually one of the queen's daughter in law.. and obviously the queen did not accept her... so much so that she does not even want to see her face in the family portriat... she must have orderd the artist to not paint her daughter in law's face... where else... she accepted the other daughter in law who is carrying a baby and according to facts... it was a baby boy... no wonder she's accepted...
Notice a man at the back of the painting? He's actually goya the artist himself... he included himself into the painting... and notice the backdrop... all the big big paintings... its dominates the whole painting... and all the painting in the royal family were painted by him.. as he was the royal artist then... so now... come to think of it... who actually donmintes the painting... its actually goya himself.. he successfully blinded the eyes of the royal family and place himself above everyone in the royal family!!!! Maybe the king and queen were only concered about how well he had painted them... how beautiful they are in the painting with their nice dress and jewllery... so much so that they did not even realise that goya was in the painting too... the painting was hanged in the living room of the palace... even till today it is still hanging there as the palace is now a le prado museum in madrid...
There is a message behind every painting... something the artist wished to tell us...
